Just thought I'd let you know that Elmo P Featherpig is improving in leaps and bounds. He is currently on top of his cage and has been coming out of the cage all week.

Set up a low T perch with a small food bowl. We now give him dinner in this while we eat ours. Took him a few days to get on the perch, but then he walked straight onto my sons hand from it.

We don't force him to step up, in fact we now use the words 'get on' instead. Step Up seems to make him twitchy.

He goes back in the cage for food enticements so at the moment it is all free will and his choice. He seems quite happy to spend his evenings out, either on the cage, on the perch or on us. He even preened my sons hair a little last night.

He also seems to have stopped shouting at around 6-7pm. Just gentle 'aaahhhss' and cooing type noises during the evening.

Fascinated by the christmas tree. Good thing he's clipped!

Awesome news! MY ekkie is much younger and adjusted very quickly. He will get into a routine and expect you to do the same thing everyday very quickly. My Tobi actually waits at the food bowl as soon as I uncover him.. He will also make the same sound when he hears me open the microwave to thaw out his veggies for breakfast

He also eats nonstop

From the awesome members here I am told he will slow down as he gets abit older but until then I am @ the grocery store so much the employees probably think I am a vegetarian..
