I just talked to my breeder in Texas and just bought my little boy, Skyler. I will have him in about a month, maybe a little less time than that. I will have pictures in about a week to show you all!!!

Thank you all very much. I am SUPER EXCITED!!! I have his new bird cage broken out of the box and am getting ready to set it up with the toys and everything. I thought the name Skyler was fitting for my new fid. It is after all one of my favorite names. What names are you thinking of Miriam? And Mikey, I hope you find your bird. Granted I don't know how you are going to have time for all those birds, but still always exciting. lol.

The parakeets don't want anything to do with me unless its food. I rescued them from outside during winter. They were lucky it was warm but the night I rescued them it got super cold out, they would of died. Skin and bones starving youngsters. I used to raise them so I know they were very young. I found them together, both boys. The yield came from families that develop allergies to them. They're paired off so they only want food. All gathered at the door for treats...lol... cockatoo goes to my partner only and macaw only comes to me. So I really have only one bird that I need to pay attention to.

Nice. I have three parakeets and they, like yours, don't want anything to do with me unless it has to do with food. lol. I just got my cage entirely set up and ready to go... Granted I will not have Skyler for at least another three weeks. But I am super excited. Its a beautiful cage for a starter cage for a three month old baby roughly. I cannot wait. Really do hope you find your bird. :D

I'm leaning towards Saphira...we have Savannah on the list also and Azul though I think that's boyish.

I love the name Saphira. That is awesome, and unique. Unless the a at the end was a typo, but either way, still awesome. :D And Azul is a great name too. But I have to agree that it is a little boyish so if your Eclectus is a female... and you really want a Spanish name, Rosada is pretty. And it kinda actually matches their color... kinda... lol. Let us all know what you decide.

Rosada is a pretty name. You right, the A isn't a typo. I'll know what her name should be when we meet :) I can't wait!! It is exciting isn't it?

Wow, I feel like I spend a lot of time on this forum, lol. but seriously, that is an awesome name. And Rosada is as well. I just might use it for my next bird as well because I believe these are going to be my only kids. lol. Awesome. Good luck.
