Something Charlie has been doing more and more lately. Positioning himself under his water bowl and making high pitched chirps. It seems like he’s regurgitating on to the bottom of the bowl, yes there is residue on the underside of the bowl. It is shiny so it may be enough of a mirror-like thing that he’s using it in that way. It’s not something he does ALL the time, but certainly every day at least once. I am sure it’s related to hormones. Is this something I should be worrying about? Any suggestions for stopping this behavior? Thanks!

RIP Gandalf and Big Bird, you are missed.
Seems Charlie has "found" an apparition and is happily trying to communicate! Given parrot eye acuity, strong likelihood the bowl is sufficiently reflective.

I’ve debated trying to cover it with a block of wood or a larger perch. It doesn’t seem to be hurting anything but the frequency has seen an uptick lately.
