Starting to mimmick

So this morning I woke up to some grunting and jibber jabber. I didn't really think twice about it until I actually woke up to listen to what Skyler was doing. He is starting to mimic my parakeets whistles and their jabbering at each other. Its awesome knowing that he is going to start talking/mimicking more things, but really... I don't want him mimicking my parakeets. lol. Having them belch it out at each other is enough. I like the fact that Skyler is a rather quiet bird.

But I am stoked about it. And he will only be five months old on the 15th of this month. So that is exciting.

That's great Jew! Saphira is in her cage now talking away..her talk...we'll say hello and sometimes it sounds like she says it. If she ever started copying Daisy though and think my husband would flip!! Daisy is a cockatiel and has a very piercing yell! It hurts your ears! It's neat that skyler turns 5 months tomorrow...Saphira just turned 5 months on the 13th!

That is awesome. It sounds like Skyler is trying to sound out how to say hello as well. I brought him with me on a weekend vacation to see some old military friends and they swore up and down that he said hello like three times. I didn't hear it. lol.

I am going to move the parakeets from the room if he starts to actually continue to mimic them. They're cute, but I don't want him making the same noises. lol.

Saphira and Skyler are two days apart. That is cool. He will not be celebrating his 5 months of being alive though. lol. Six months... Maybe. lol.

My baby girl sits at the very top of the play gym and tries out all kinds of new vocalizations. Last night we heard a distinct whistle. So when she whistles, I whistle back.
