Abby 2 year old Female Eclectus & Solomon 12 year old Male CAG & Dickens 4 year old CAG.
How old is this male?

Is this a breeder or an owner?

I do not like the condition of the cage... it is dirty and rusty.. that is not good for any bird.

If the Eckie is young then it might change.
I would have a vet check him out 1st.

I would have to be cautious buying that bird. For one thing he isn't a baby his eyes have the gold ring around it which tells me he is an adult or approaching maturity.

There has been a lot of strange colored eclectus in Indonesia. I have to wonder if it's not diet related. I would also worry about liver disease a cause for yellow feathers in eclectus.

If your serious about buying this bird i would have a good Vet on hand because i think you might need one.

The beak has nothing to do with the age of the bird, I have a couple of 6 month old males with completely orange beaks no black left at all. I have also seen some male birds that are 2 years old with completely black beaks.

It's the eyes that change slower. when they are chicks or young their eyes are all dark they don't start to get that clear golden ring until they are around 18 months old.

Yes i did notice the feet but just thought it could be caused by some foods that have stained them. There is also some evidents of plucking.

If it's a diet related problem & the bird was given a balanced healthy diet & didn't have any further health issues i would think his overall appearence should change for the better.
