Stuffing a pepper

Aphrodite - red throated conure (RIP)
A tried and true foraging method: stuff a pepper!

Added twist: cover it with a kale leave so he has to shred through leafy greens (read: EAT some of it) in order to get to the good stuff.

He wasn’t eased with my presence so scurried away but the beak marks speak for themselves.

Thats so awesome! And your description had me laughing!!! I haven't heard scurrying in a long time! Chowed down for sure . Forget the parrots I need to make food fun like this girl myself!

Agreed! We just had chop day last night. I’m so jealous of how Parker eats...
