Have you ever flown a green cheek? how do you know you can surely trust them? ive gone from flying back and forth a short distance in my house to flying longer indoor distances like across the house, and am now only rewarding when the my bird chooses me as a good place to land. and also alot of placing the bird or letting the bird fly up to high spots and then rewarding when it flys down to my hand, i plan on doing this for a few more months and also training to wear a harness. any tip or tricks for such a small conure? hes about 60 grams.

Your situation is pretty similar with me. We are from south east asia region where english is not the mother tounge. I feel that your advice in freeflight is valuable regardless the communication distortion.

Presently have six Greenwing Macaw (17 yo), Red Fronted Macaw (12 yo), Red Lored Amazon (17 y.o.), Lilac Crowned Amazon (about 43 y.o.) and a Congo African Grey (11 y.o.)

My little sunnie was also free flighted. He was such a joy.
The pair bond birds I think, make the best recall birds.
Unfortunately, he flew too low across the parking lot at my old apartment complex, and was hit by a car.

Observe the sorrounding for safety precaution is a must.
My Patagonian and galah cockatoo are very eager to play on the ground, i always tell my sons to secure the area from cat and dog while playing in our yard.
