Tami... I use multi-media (layers of paper and paint) techniques produce a 3-D-ish effect, very customized. The final product can be based on photos, videos, links, or any combination thereof. My store address is in my little blurb in my signature.

This one was off the beaten path... ummm... literally?!
Somebody had "adopted" a baby giraffe as part of a zoo fund-raiser. Of course it stayed at the zoo, so they wanted a portrait so that they could enjoy their "baby" at home.

Its name is "Gif".

By the way, I'm not being intentionally mysterious... I must keep all my Supporting Vendor commercial (GaleriaPetPortraits) actions separate from my regular/moderator (GaleriaGila) actions. I've already goofed and had to delete posts, but I think I've about got it nailed!

This kitty's portrait was 'in memoriam'. Sold in my eBay store.
Very unusual coloring... almost calico-like, with fur that was very light at the roots and darkened towards the ends. And the palest, minty-greenest eyes I've ever seen. In the painting, they really follow you.
This was his special cushion, which is still around.
He passed recently, and I just mailed this package out, due to arrive on Monday, so we'll see what his family thinks! They miss him a lot, and look forward to a remembrance of him. If you like, you can join me in awaiting their feedback on eBay.
Okay, I can be pretty nutty, but... here's a funny thing. As I was portraying him, the thought popped into my head... the sound of an odd, loud "MAAAAAWWWW" type of meow. In correspondence, I asked the owner if the cat had a special meow. She said yes, that it sounded like he was calling "Maaaa! Maaaa!"
I have funny experiences like this sometimes, while portraying a pet. I often have the sweetest, warmest exchanges with the owners or parronts.

I'll definitely need a shot of the ball... maybe a few angles. Some shots of how he holds it or plays with it would be nice. Also, any unique markings or colors Clark has. And... do you want his name on it? Anything else? I can make adjustments in the final image, since the painting isn't based on any one photograph. It's a unique interpretation/construction. I'm really looking forward to this.
