Help! Toe made weird noise when I picked up my Amazon!

I was getting ready to put my Orange Wing Amazon back in his cage & told him to step up on my finger. His toe made a weird noise kind of like cracking a knuckle. He didn't make any noise or act as if anything had happened or hurt. He's walking fine on it; flying & landing on it and was hanging upside down in his cage within 5 minutes. Am I panicking over nothing?

have you ever cracked your knuckles before?
pretty sure it runs under the same category.

if he starts acting like he is injured or swelling occurs then take him to the vet otherwise i wouldn't be to worried about it.

im sure your bird is just fine, since u say he acts as if nothing has happened. just still keep an eye out. hope i helped

I've never heard a bird joint pop, but I'm sure they can. Just keep an eye on him, but it sounds like he's okay.
