So i was researching seeds and how good/bad they' re for parrots. My studies show hemp seeds are a good choice for parrots. The best choice in some articles. So i asked at the feed store, yeah they carry it. 3.00$ per pound. The zons LOVE it. I gave them a TBS and everyone ate every one of them. They are sterilized here in the US so they can't be grown. That seems to effect their fiber content some what but more so in hulled seeds. The unhulled seeds that i get are pricier than sunflower seeds but better fats.I'm sure if i can find the 25 lb bags locally that the price would be a lot better.Have you tried them before? Can you get them in your area? PS the cockatiels went through them like "Sherman through Georgia".

I can get them locally, but I usually only get them sparingly as I hardly ever feed them. The bird store here locally sells them in small bags, but I saw a huge bag in Sacramento(? - or Las Vegas, forget which one) for sale, too!

Yes, I've been feeding my birds hemp seeds, they love it! I also read an article saying that hemp oil is superior to red palm oil for our birds. I have read so many good things about red palm oil that I decided to switch it out. I keep the hemp oil in the fridge (you can buy it at the health food stores) They seem to love this as well!

I've been feeding hemp seeds the past 14 years after learning about them. They're very good to boost their immune system as well!!! It should be fed occasionally in portions not a daily feeding regimen!!!!

I went to the market a few weeks ago, and there was a stall promoting hemp seeds - as in what they can do for your health... They just wanted a petition signed, and not selling them... Shame, because I've read that birds love them... and would have bought some...

They sell hulled hemp seeds in the bulk section at my local health food store. They are super healthy (and yummy) for humans too. :)

I'm wondering why you say they should be fed occasionally and not daily. I always put a pinch in with their fresh food. I have been doing it daily but now I'm wondering if it is a mistake.

I started feeding this to my new 30yo YNA. When I got him I took him to the vet for a checkup, he's in good shape even though his previous diet was bad. Iron level was low..hemp has 45% iron. So when I told the vet what I was doing she felt it was perfect and that between this and the better diet he get's he'll be fine.
I also get ground hemp to add to birdie bread.
Check out www.nuts.com
That's where I get mine..maybe they sell bigger bags.

I get hemp seed for myself at the natural food store. It's like $1.19 a lb. hulled.
I plan to share with Dexter when he's weaned.

CBD keeps up various mental handled by collaborating with the receptors in the sensory system and in the invulnerable one. In addition, the body itself produces cannabinoids as a feature of the elements of the endocannabinoid framework.

And, sadly there is no studies to support any of that short of a couple small group testings that has not been confirmed.

CBD may 'someday' be found to in-fact provide a bit of what is currently being pushed, but that is sometime in the future. At this moment in time, the buyer is the test lab. Let the buyer beware!

CBD is not processed in an FDA Approved Facility for Human Use Products. There are no industrial guidelines as to what is used in its formulation and therefore very limited chance that there is any consistency from one batch to another, let alone one processor to another.

At this point, North America produced Dog Food is manufactured under much greater assurance of quality!

Truly, I've been encouraging my winged creatures hemp seeds, they love it! I additionally read an article saying that hemp oil is better than red palm oil for our winged creatures. I have perused such a large number of beneficial things about red palm oil that I chose to change it out. I keep the hemp oil in the refrigerator (you can get it at the wellbeing nourishment stores) They appear to cherish this too!
