So I have been told that you should change your birds water daily, does this include water bottles?

I completely agree with Eloy.

Water can quickly become a bacteria brewery.

I use bottled water for all my fids and it gets changed a minimum of twice a day, sometimes more often, depending on temperature and "yuck" accumuluation. I don't use a water bottle, therefore I do get the "yuck" a lot ;)

The more the water is changed the better, especially when in a bowl.
Bottled water changed a minimum of twice a day, as mentioned above

An example that I use to answer that kind of question is... Put water into a cup or bottle. Leave it on the table all day. Come back later and drink it. How do you think it would taste? How healthy do you think it is?

There have been several times I would drink a bottle of water a day after I opened it, that has never really bothered me so I never thought of it that way
