Question about poop?

Chubby's poop has been dark green the past day or so, I attribute this to his green pellets, the dark green kale, green peppers, and peas he has been eating. The urates are a normal white color. However, the urine (which should be clear) is green too. Could it be the color leaching from the poop into the urine?

Otherwise the poop is of normal consistency. He doesn't poop more or less than usual, there is no smell and there is no undigested food in it either. He is about 1 year and 3 months old. He is eating, drinking, and playing normally.

Should I be worried about liver disease?

What they eat will change the color of poop. Expect that when giving new foods, or a lot of any color. But, if really concerned, a vet visit is always best answer. I think it sounds like from all that green food.

Like Bill said, sounds like normal presentations.....here are several pics that can give you an idea of normal & abnormal presentations...just keep in mind the pics are from different species, so yours may not be exact matches.....

Additional pics following.....

More poop pics.....

Keep in mind that these pics are for example only & may not be exactly like your bird's presentations.....

Only the last pic is of an abnormal presentation...all the rest are normal.....

Wow! These really help, thanks!

Are the two bright green ones in your last post (the bath one and the one above it) supposed to be normal or abnormal?

There is a reason I don't think we should feed dyed pellets... and abnormal colored droppings is one of them...

I've also noticed that dyed pellets may result in runnier/gloopier poop than dye-free pellets...
