So I know candles, incense, and sprays can diminish air quality a lot for both birds and humans, but what about those scent wicking things? I don't know what they're actually called but essentially its some scented oil in a container with porous sticks stuck into it that act as a wick.

I'm just wondering because I have one with a lovely smell but I don't want to use it if it's harmful. Obviously even if it is not a factor in air quality it would be important to not let any birds get a hold of it.

I've used them, I think the scented oils are pretty safe to use.

I thought so too because it's usually just oil and essential oil
