Water Warming

I didn't see a baby bird section so sorry if this is in the wrong area.

I thought these were an interesting way to have heated water for your baby birds formula. You can set the temp you want the water to come out- Not to say you don't still need to check temps before feeding... but this is looks like a fast way of getting the water the temp you want it to start off with. I looking into baby ones but they warm the water only to 98 degrees.

They all seem to "store" hot water and keep it hot. I'm not sure you can set it to what ever temp you want. I see multiple settings. Most seem large (1/2 to 1 gal). Seems like a waste of energy when i only need a few TBS at a time.(maybe a 1/2 cup). I've got too many "gadgets" now, no room on the counters. Might be nice for my coffee though. I make a fresh cup every time with the Melita Cones and a tea kettle.
