Rocky - Yellow-Faced Quaker Parrot
Hi, okay ill tell what happened.

I have a quaker parrot that sleeps in my room. It is cold here so I turned on the heater in my room last night, but I fell asleep while it was on.. When I awoke it was very hot in my room, probably around 90 degrees. I turned off the heater then took off the cover off my birds cage to make sure he was okay. Then I opened my room's door to the rest of the house to cool off my room. Outside my room it is very cold so my room cooled down to probably 70 degrees in less than 15 seconds.

Then I realized that I just put my bird through an extreme temperature change and I freaked out. I also realized I must have stirred up some drafts in my room. He is doing fine, it seems. But will he get sick? Thanks!

I'm sure he'll be fine! Just keep an eye on him. Plus at 70 degrees isn't that bad! ;)

Its understandable! So that you know Quakers are able to withstand freezing temperatures in places such as new york. But they are adjusted to it over time.
