How long do you worry about droppings before a vet visit?

Congo African Grey: Jenga
Jenga has been having more-watery than normal droppings, but the color still looks fine. Now, I've been working at home the last two days so she has been getting more fruits and people food than normal because I'm here eating too, so I suspect that is playing into this. However, I'm going to only giver her pellets tonight and tomorrow and if doesn't clear up is it time for a vet visit? How long does it take feces to 'bounce back' from diet changes?

If she resumes to her normal eating habits, they should return to normal within 24 hours.

a good way to check is always revert to what is normal for them to digest.

Presently have six Greenwing Macaw (17 yo), Red Fronted Macaw (12 yo), Red Lored Amazon (17 y.o.), Lilac Crowned Amazon (about 43 y.o.) and a Congo African Grey (11 y.o.)
Panama Amazon (1 Y.O.)
The fruit will do that to them... It should clear up fairly quickly.

Agreed. Put her back on her normal food and check then.

I must say though - my vet had a good giggle at me and my poo stress! LOL! I'm getting better but at first I would have a panic attack eaxh time I saw a 'new poop' and rush off to the AV ;)

Yeah I know! Birds are just so good at hiding the fact that they are sick I'm so worried I'm just going to come home one day and she's going to be dead. I'm a little paranoid too :p

Good. You should have seen a change by now so it is good that you're seeing the AV just to make sure what is going on. Please report back on what he says.
