My family and I are about to take a 6 hour trip to Phoenix, Arizona tomorrow night and our two Conures are coming with us. Is there anything special I need to do to make the trip easier for them?
The good thing is we'll be leaving around 10 p.m. and make the drive through the night and arrive around 4 a.m. -so hopefully they may have a relatively normal sleep cycle.
I won't be able to bring their cage. Rather than getting a small travel cage, I was thinking of getting a decent size box and adding some cloth for comfort and branches should they want to perch on something.
