I offered my new green cheek, who is female, a few different sources of calicum and she won't eat any of them. I tried cuttlebone, calcium powder on fruit, and egg shells and she ignores all of them. She also will not eat any vegetasbles so I can't rely on them for calcium. I know she is young but I feel she needs to establish a calcium source so she is used to it when she needs it. Any advice?

Usually they will eat veggies off your plate if they see you eating it first. Also, try offering scrambled eggs with the egg shells mixed in.

Keep trying her on a healthy diet! :) Be creative, too!

I would say not to worry about it right now as long as she's healthy, and just keep trying to get her to try new foods!

Phoe, my crimson bellied conure, completely ignored his cuttle bone for at least a month after we got him, but once he decided to try it he loves it:)
