Buttercup our Linnie appears to have injured her wing over night. We got her out today to find blood on her wing. It was dried. Should we put anything on it to help it heal? If so, any good suggestions??

Difficult to tell from the pic but looks like she's caught a blood feather?

Milo gets his all the time. As long as its stopped bleeding you'll do more harm than good messing with it- I leave Milo's alone and hope the stain comes out in the next bath, but it does tend to stain pale feathers :(

Occasionally Milo has broken his and left a rough/ jagged edge which I have considered taking him to the vet to have it pulled as it seems to affect him folding his wing properly (I'm not brave enough to do it myself!) but his have always sorted themselves.

Best wishes for her xx
