He's been incredibly tired today and seems ill. I really feel sorry for him he's never like this and has been sleeping on my shoulder for a good few hours. Anytime I try and play with him he'll just go back to sleep. There are no avian vets in my area (closest one is 2 hours away) so id either have to drive there or take him to a normal vet.
Conure is really tired today, is he ill?

Lethargy is generally a strong sign of illness in birds. Is he drinking and eating properly? What are his droppings like? Has he been expressing any other behaviours that are worrisome (excessive vomiting, for example)?
Honestly, we can't tell you if he is or not - only a blood panel or fecal exam could tell you if there's something in his system. If you're not willing to risk losing your bird, I highly suggest the two hour drive.

He's drinking and eating, his droppings look fine too. He's gotten better today but if I notice he's still ill I will be going to the vet. He's just too adorable the family has bonded with him strongly because of his great personality the little clown.

I'm sorry he's still feeling bad. I would get him to the vet as soon as possible. Birds are very good at hiding illnesses, by the time their symptoms are obvious, they can be very ill. I hope your little guy recovers quickly, please keep us updated.

Good news, he's actually been doing great today and so far he's been normal playing with his toys and free roaming around the house! I called to visit the vet yesterday but the surgeon had left so have to go on Monday.
On an off topic question I've got a few of those plastic cat balls with a bell inside them which he plays with often but aggressively. Putting your hand near him when he's doing that results in a bite. Is this normal behaviour?

Thought I'd update you guys on how everything is going with Neo; he's feeling great! I took him to the vet and was told I should try and adjust his diet and provide more vegetables ( currently on tidymix seed mix while giving him dried and normal fruit). Tried converting him to Harrison's but he just won't have it.
He's fully recovered now, thanks for all the help guys! I'll leave it with a few pictures.
