Unhappy Some Explanations for Bird Keeper Lung Disease

Many of you may not be familiar with this condition and I found a site that has some simple, understandable explanations of how this happens. At the end of the article there are suggestions for air filtration systems that I am not selling. Just the article.

SB, you rock! You always have so much good info.

Of course, now I'm a bit concerned about my FIL adopting Popcorn the Cockatoo. He has come breathing issues - mostly allergies, but they've gotten lots better the past 3-4 years.

Re: Some Explanations for Bird Keeper Lung Disease

Thank you HRH I do not have an air purifier yet and should. Some of them have hepa filters that last several months to a permanent one. Expensive too! I did have one I got from Amazon and it was noisy and really did not do anything so I am a little shy about which one to get.
