Is Fennel Flower seed, also known as black seed and black cumin, safe for birds to consume? I read on the non toxic for birds list that fresh fennel is safe and healthy for them to consume but what about the fennel flower seeds? For horses it is wondrous for many ailments but never heard anything about it for birds other than chickens. The chickens were fine but they are a complete different species. If anyone has ever used black seeds on their birds please let me know.
