Female budgie named Jello. We thought she was a male at first and named her after Jello Biafra.
My budgie suddenly started crying out in pain. I found her sitting on her food bowl with one of her wings hanging at a strange angle. Should I put her in a sock? Don't have any bandages and it's 4am

The sock is not going to restrict the bird's movement, but by holding the wing against its body may well cause it additional pain and injury to the bone ends, as well as creating increased heat.....possibly a bandage made out of panty hose until you can get the bird to a vet.....

I hope you have an avian vet near by ? ? ?

Good luck.....

That is strange. Looks almost like a tick on a dog. I hope you get your baby to an avian vet to be looked at. Sorry I don't have any advice...good luck and keep us updated.

Benign tumor was the diagnosis. The recommendation, due to her age (7-8), was to leave it alone unless it starts growing super fast or she picks at it.
