I'm browsing the web for a new cage for Kiwiberry, I found a cheap one that's of decent size, so now I need perches.
I'm mainly finding a bunch of dowel rods and I don't want that, so I'm thinking I'll go for a walk tomorrow, get some apple tree branches (too old to fruit now I think), but I'm honestly not sure if they've been sprayed, is there a way to safely work with them and let Kiwiberry use them, or is it a lost cause?
The other option is letting Kiwiberry be on dowels and rope perches until spring/summer when I can get to our cabin, but even then there's no guarantee they trees haven't bee sprayed with something...
