Wet mouth?

Hello all. Recently I have noticed that Sky's mouth, specifically his upper beak, has been wet. I believe this wetness is independent of him drinking water (I'm not entirely sure).

Also it is not wet most of the time. It is only wet when he grinds his beak. He has a habit of grinding his beak very quickly, and it is only during these times when he is grinding his beak that his upper beak becomes wet. I should also note that his tongue is not wet during these times. Just the top of his mouth. I read somewhere that this could just be him cleaning inside his mouth? I never noticed it before, and I'm a little worried.

He seems fine otherwise. His breathe isn't smelly, as far as I can tell, and I did a search for white spots both on the roof of his mouth and under his tongue and found nothing. His poop is scentless and normal, a nice greeny/browny color (he's on a mixed diet of seed/pellet/fresh fruits and vegetables), though today it was particularly green since we ran out of pellets. His poop was more watery than usual, but urine was clear, urates were white, and poop retained its shape minus a few tiny ones.

So I'm wondering if any of you have experienced this with your feathered babies? Should I be worried and considering the vet, or is this something that is normal for parrots?

Hmm, weird! It doesn't seem like a problem to me, especially if his beak doesn't smell. My birds don't ever really do that because they clean their beaks in their water bowls and wipe it down on a perch. And watery poop just means he's having to pee more, really. As long as it's not discoloured, it's generally not too much of a concern.

I'm just got worried cause I'd never really noticed it and was wondering why he would do that, especially since he has about a million fresh bowls of water out at any given time.   Good news is he didn't do it all day today. What a little bugger
