I have had a male & female ringneck for a few years and have bred quite a few young ones from them. About 6 mths ago the female went very strange at nesting time. To me she appears to have had a stroke, but not being familiar with their ailments I would not be sure. She only laid one egg and then couldn't fly. Since then the baby has hatched and gone to its new home and she still can't fly. She appears to be healthy apart from this, but if she gets a fright she will fall off the perch screaming and flop around in circles until she gets her bearings then climbs back up the wire to her perch or gets back in her nesting box. She eats and drinks normal. anyone got any ideas/advice for me on this.
