Safe Heat Lamps?

Spring is here, and my Chicken chicks are fast approaching! They will be here in several weeks, and I need a Heat Lamp. Lately there have been issues with Heat Lamps that aren't properly labelled for being Teflon, ect. They will be in my house for the time being, so I don't want to cause any harm to Kiko. The chicks will be away from Kiko, but I understand Teflon is a very tricky thing to contain, if you even can. Besides, the chicks are birds too, so they would die as well. I know to check the labels, and call the manafacterers, but do any of you know any heat lamp brands that would be safe to use in my bird-filled house? XP

Because of the exact temperature needs of chicks and the difficulty in regulating heat lamp temperetures I do NOT suggest a heat lamp. If you are pulling chicks for hand feeding you need an actual brooder. I use the aviquarium10 from avitech which is actually just a lid that fits on a ten gallon aquarium and provides both heat and regulation. Heat lamps are NOT a great option, especially if you are new to raising birds. I paid less than $200 for my brooder. How old do you plan to pull the chicks?

I plan on brooding Chicken chicks.
I didn't know where to put this, but it was about Kiko's health, so I thought to put it here.

Lol ok, sorry, I don't know the answer but yeah I think heat lamps are ok for chicken babies since they have fluff. I have been answering a lot of questions lately by people who ask silly things because they haven't done their homework, and I'm sorry that I didn't read yours closely enough the first time. I would suggest a heat lamp specifically for chickens perch used at a farm and fleet stor such as Runnings.

It's alright!
I have spotted a few great heat lamps for chickens, but the labels are always vague. I actually have one for chickens(incubated many before I had parrots) but my dad accidentally broke it, and I can't remember the brand. I also heard the heat lamps with red light, that are 'shattered resistant' are the most dangerous.
