Molting and cuttle bone

My 6 year old GCC, Tiki, has officially begun to molt (for the first time since living with me) and she is becoming a little monster! She doesn't know what she wants, all she knows is that she wants it NOW. She can't make up her mind and seems so frustrated! Like...

"Stop cuddling me! WHY DID YOU STOP CUDDLING ME?"
"Use THAT finger to scratch me HERE. Not THAT finger, THAT finger."
"Did I tell you you could stop scratching? SCRATCH!"
"Oh that feels good... GET OFF THAT PIN FEATHER!" *CHOMP*
"Scratch me right there. WHO TOLD YOU YOU COULD TOUCH ME THERE?!"

I feel so bad for her. I have a humidifier in her room and I've been giving her an opportunity to bathe a couple times a day (she will only take a bath in the bathroom sink with running water).

I have a question though... she has a cuttle bone in her cage which she uses I guess on average. She also has a strawberry-flavored bee pollen and calcium perch which she has never paid attention to until she has just started molting. Now she is tearing both of them up! Especially the perch! She is constantly covered in powder from it, it's all over her beak, in the feathers around her face, and up her nose

Is it normal for them to crave more calcium and nutrients when they're molting? Or is her sudden obsession with it a coincidence?

And can they OD on those things?!
