My 1 year old female Conure Conlan had her wellness check up a few months ago and all came back normal. She's never even showed hints of being sick.

Last night I noticed she started acting off. A bit wobbly but could still perch and climb, but wasn't her normal self. Usually if I ask for a trick, like a kiss noise, she's all over it. For 20 minutes she wouldn't give me the 'kiss' but would lightly respond to other cues.

Very light shaking, but not flopping, aware of herself and surrounding, reacted properly to eye test, stability test, no ticking of body parts, heart was clear, lungs clear, no discharge or wheezing. It just seemed like she zoned out for 20 minutes. Wouldn't even eat her sunflower seed. Then after that she started to come back to normal quickly, but while usually she'll stay on the perch at the front of the cage where she normally sits until lights out (then she's goes to her 'sleep' perch), she would stay at the front if i was there, then go back to the sleep spot when i walked away. This morning she was her normal happy self. She is eating and drinking, no new toys or things she could have gotten into. We haven't used anything with Teflon, no new birds or animals in the home. Her beak did feel kind of warm but it was only 73°f in the room, which is normal, and no one else she'd signs of heat problems.

Does this sound like a silent seizure or something else? She'll be making a return trip to the vet this week to

I'm not sure, I'm curious what your vet will say. I would be worried about seizure/something toxic causing it. Is it possible she was asleep? Can a bird sleep walk?

I wonder cause mine will sometimes make soft noises to me when they are mostly sleeping, head under wing sometimes even. They are also not great about perching when asleep, I mean I could poke them and I think they'd fall off.

As far as nothing new in the house..could be even a human with perfume? I also worry in the summer, I'm near railroad tracks which get blackberry briars thick around them and the rr comes by and will spray t hem from time to time. I worry about wind bringing it over to my house. This last year they actually mowed it down though, hopefully that will keep up.

I'm not sure if they can sleep walk :/ if that's what that was I'm going to beat her feathered butt for scaring me lol. No new scents in the room. I have pet rats so we have to keep scented things light or not at all because of their sensitivity.

I think she's in her 'I need a man' stage. Cause even during this whole thing she still kept lifting her tail and backing up against me

ya I've got rats, a bunny and then the birds..basically everything scented is scary to the whole house.

Hopefully she is just being weird and nothing serious is going on. Foo has been very hormonal as of late and it has caused some personality quirks. Though for her it's I can't have a moments peace. She constantly wants to be near me and if I don't do right she bites. it took us a year when we first got her to stop the biting and it sucks we are going through it again.
