Hi. I have been looking after my african grey chick for the past week shes two and a half weeks old, not the first time im hand-rearing birds but they are usually not so small. I removed the chick from the parents because the mother had bitten two of the baby aftican greys toes out which is unusual because shes normally excellent. I've started noticing the feet turning a purplish greyish colour. I dont think it is normal is it? Or does she have an infection ? What can i do to help her or use on her feet? Does she need a vet? Shes eats perfectly well and is very receptive to my touch but im worried that about her foot. Please advise. Thanks.
