Hi all,

I have two conures. They were pooping like every 15 minutes in the past but recently, they are pooping every 2~3 minutes with a small amount. I am wondering if this is something I should worry about?

Thanks

That is a bit frequent... what does the poop look like? Do you have an avian vet that has seen them recently, I would run fresh poop samples in asap.

How long has this been happening? Back to normal now? Any new foods? Are poops well formed? Any foamy look to it?

Are they passing normal sized poops now? Smaller size could mean that 1) they aren't eating much or 2) something is causing a blockage.

Your vet can help determine this. In the meantime, make sure they can't reach anything that could be ingested and cause impaction like fabric, cotton/nylon rope, and soft plastics. Watch them to see if they are eating.
