White spots on beak?

Hi! My Skittles has two white spots on her beak, I just noticed them a couple days ago. She was on a seed diet when I got her (5 months,) but she took to the pellet diet (Rowdybush) nicely; she can't get enough of them lol! She's been on an all-pellet diet with some fruits, veggies, a piece of chicken here and there, seeds as a treat when training, as she's VERY food motivated and will walk through the gates of hell for a sunflower seed lol. Anyway, I digress... I have a kinda rough perch right by her food for toenail/beak care, but maybe it's not enough? Or is something wrong? She's not overweight, is happy and playful (though was pouty today because I made her wear her bird diaper yesterday when she went outside with me lol,) but those white spots are pretty noticable, and there's one on each side. I don't remember them being there before... Has anyone seen this before? (Excise the mess in the background)

What mess in the background? This is a Parrot Forum when crazy bird people gather. We look at Parrots.

What you are looking at is beak that has been busy and as a result has a couple of layers and a point that has lifted slightly. This is kind of like cracking a finger nail and like a finger nail will naturally grow out. The beak, like a finger nail, grows from the root out to the end where it is worn away.

If it drives you a little crazy, you can visit you're Avian Vet and have them grind it smooth.

Lol well, my vacuum was laying all in pieces and stuff :p

Oh good, thank you so much! I wasn't sure if they were calcium spots (if that can happen) or some indication of a disease or just flat out normal wear and tear, I was getting kind of worried but didn't want to rush to the vet like a dork if it was no big deal lol... She does love to chew on everything, and I keep her cage (as well as everywhere else she goes) stocked with chews and shreddies of different kinds; she destroys them all very quickly!
