I have used Avian CPR, but have not been successful, at least to date. But, I had been dealing with Heart Failure in the three cases that I have used it. But having the knowledge is very important in a fully flighted home.

It is clearly, one of those documents that should be kept in the Emergency First Aid Kit.

Great article that carefully distinguishes between a shock/accident vs debilitation. Some organizations have pet CPR classes, will have to attend one as refresher and see if they have pointers or a practice "dummy" for avians.

The way for human CPR changes often. I don't know if that is true for animals. It's a good question to ask an avian vet on a visit and maybe get a demo.
