Cushy Foot Perch safety?

We have a question about Arika's XL Cushy Foot Perch (supposedly made by Sweet Feet & Beak). But when we go to their website we do not see the Cushy Perch listed. We wanted to obtain some detailed information about it but nothing seems to be available.

Pet Discounters sells it here (we did not buy from them, just using it a a pic reference).

We noticed that Arika has been chewing on it lately and has managed to chew a hole in the end. She's actually been stuffing pellets in he hole

Here is our concern, we don' see any plastic perch debris on the bottom of the cage and are concerned that she may be ingesting the plastic. We have removed the perch and installed another short wood one so that she still has something to sit on in that area of the cage.

Anyone else had experience with their bird possibly eating this type of plastic perch?

Thanks for your reply. We did notice some very, very small pieces of green plastic from the perch at the bottom of the cage but they were very tiny. Since the plastic is green it would be very hard to see it in her poop and we did look.
She seems to be eating fine, poop looks normal, and no excessive crop adjustment going on. We will continue to monitor for any abnormal signs very closely.

We did find it odd that the manufacturer (Sweet Feet & Beak ) doesn't even list the cushy perch on their website but the perches are available on various large chain supply houses and they mention that they are made by Sweet Feet & Beak.

Thanks and we hope others might reply about the cushy perch if they've had any experience with it.
