B&G Macaw, Galah, 5 cockatiels, 50 billion and a half budgies. We breed and do rescue. Too many to list each individual's name and age etc, but they are each individuals and loved dearly.
I sure hope so, well, relative to their foot size anyway. Puppers tend to have short nails. With a grey, you want relatively short and dull so you don't get clawed while the bird is walking or sitting on you, but still long enough the bird can use it for climbing. In my experience, Greys tend to be more walker climber birds than flyers. Have you had your bird long?

Maybe take him/her to a bird vet for a checkup and have them show you proper length and clipping technique? :) Welcome to the forums!

When standing on a flat surface, his pads should be flat. If not, too long!
A tip, if you have your vet do it, make the appointment for a nail clip! At our vet, cost for a nail clip is $9, general visit, $65!
