Foot problem?

This morning we noticed that one of Yoda's feet seems to be darker pink, like it's irritated or something. Our house gets pretty dry in the winter, so maybe it's dry skin. Some other details:

He's eating fine, poops are normal
It's normal looking on the bottoms of both feet
He doesn't seem to be favoring the foot, or showing signs of pain

Any advice? Should we take him to the vet asap?

The coloration is outside of what I would consider normal with this skin /nail coloration. It also appears that the outer (left) toe /claw is stiff or has limited motion.

Within the last 48 hours it is possible there had been an injury or possibly the effect of an infection.

Most Avian Vet Clinics have emails that you can provide the above pictures. Provide relevant information as part of your email and call first thing in the morning.

Note: Look closely for any signs of cuts or other indications of an injury.

Mystery solved! He has a new toy with little colored wicker balls that he's been truly in love with recently. One of them is red and apparently his foot was wet.... and then his foot became reddish. We gave him a little bath (I was hoping it might help soothe any dry skin if that was the issue), and his little foot is no longer red... the dye seems to have been washed off.

So his little feet look fine now, we'll keep an eye on them in case it really was a problem and it reoccurs without washing off... He's due for his annual check up anyway.

His toes have no stiffness or anything, it was just how they looked in that picture as I struggled to get a good pic of his toes. I think he was being foot-shy whenever I pointed my phone at his feet he kept trying to eat my phone or back away from it.

That happened to me with my Moustache Parakeet Fuji except I took him to the vet thinking he was bleeding. $95 later I was told it was red dye from his wicker ball.

Kermit’s feet get red whenever he eats raspberries or cherries. When he holds a large chunk in his foot it makes it look like he’s bleeding, and he wipes his messy beak all over those nice clean perches.
