Does anyone know if Icy Hot patches are safe to use around birds? Not for birds to touch, but the menthol aroma is fairly strong, so wondering if the fumes / smell is bad or not?
I doubt that there would be any difference between species, but I have a TAG and a Macaw.

Thanks in advance!

I have never used this product personally and have no knowledge as a result of the effects of the aroma and what distances should be maintained.

If you have any concern, its just better to keep it away from them.

I'm going to say that it's better to NOT expose your birds to menthol fumes, as you said they are extremely strong, and even if it's not a fume that would kill your birds quickly, it's very likely to cause a lot of irritation throughout their air sac system...
