Sister knocked over bird cage in the middle of the night

Sorry for posting here again so soon, but last night while my sister was up to go to the bathroom, she accidently knocked one of the parrots cage over. (I had moved it to a different location, so I guess she forgot. Its a pretty sturdy cage though :-0)
She said she took him out for a long time to calm him down and check for any wounds, and he was fine.

Should I be concerned that he was harmed from the fall despite acting and looking fine? I ask only because I once heard of a bird who’s cage fell, and the bird later died from injuries.

When I first got my Budgies I had them in a small cage (One of the "Parakeet Sized" cages that really should not be used for a living thing) and it got knocked over. They were okay but if you are really worried I think a vet check would be a good thing to reassure you if nothing else.

RIP Gandalf and Big Bird, you are missed.
Sorry to hear this! The shock of a sudden movement at night will scare most birds, and they will need to "unwind."

While birds tend to hide injury, a broken bone such as a leg or wing structure would be painfully obvious. Concussion to the head may not be as noticeable, especially hours later. If you have any questions, a visit with a certified avian vet is advisable.

Hopefully nothing more than a scare.
