My little GCC tends, especially when bored, to go to the bottom of her cage and chew on her feces (the pieces caught in the grate). I've been told that it may be a nutrient deficiency but she eats fairly healthy. It's one of a few things I'm going to mention to the vet, but does anyone have any ideas?

In more detail, Coprophagia (Eating of feces), is usually due to a lack of Chloine in the system. It can be easily remedied by administering 1/4 teasp. of brewers yeast to the birds food mix. This will provide much needed minerals and enzymes for the bird.
