‘‘Tis the season..... ugh it is vicious here I get bit about 10 times in half an hour and was wondering if anybody has any threads on how to protect our precious parrots or if I should not worry bout it , we use to light the citronella candle but those are unsafe for birds , I’m assuming , any thoughts ?

Sunny a female B&G macaw;
Japie (m) & Appie (f), both are congo african grey;
All are rescues- had to leave their previous homes for 'reasons', are still in contact with them :)
Screens ...everywhere, is my best guess.

You can do it pretty and stylish with frames and all, or just 'quick and dirty' with the netting and selfadhesive-velcro.
You can have your house moquite-proofed in a day (or less)

First eliminate any standing water around your house, i.e., buckets, planters, etc. Then Get a Dynatrap. They really work! I live in the bug capital of the country and have no bugs in my yard. We get it sprayed quarterly which is save for pets, and Dynatrap uses no chemicals. https://dynatrap.com/#works
