Everything came back negative. PBFD, psitocosis, fungal infection, bacterial infection, tuberculosis. All negative.

I'm not ready to start celebrating because this was probably the 2nd worst result (1st being pbfd) because while some seriously bad stuff is eliminated, I still have no idea what's going on.

The vet thinks maybe a diet change and some other avian board members agree but I think I have him on a pretty good diet and other than some calcium issues and the monocyte cells, blood work is pretty good.

I'm so lost I don't know where to go from here.

Does anyone know of any other contagious diseases that he could have? I would really like to open my toy shop so I can maybe get some money flow and have more options available for him.

I’m glad all of those things are eliminated but you must be very frustrated. I hope you can get it figured out.

So we are at the vet wants to try a diet change for 6 weeks and then reavalute his monocyte levels. If the monocytes are still high then to do an xray. Though if I can get the money together I might ask if we could just do the xray now.... except that would require putting him under as far as I'm aware and that's risky business...
