Is it okay to use a Scentsy wax warmer in the same room as my fids?

There will be some members that tell you NO do not use any air fresheners, glade plug ins, air wick, scentsy, too strong of fumes for birds, etc.
BUT I respectfully disagree with those people because of my own experience.... I have used candles, a scentsy, glad-plug ins and incense all in the house with my birds before (never all at the same time, never that frequently) and they have all been absolutely FINE.
Use your scentsy...with common sense! Not right next to birds and they should be A-Okay. Also you never want to leave birds outside of cages alone unsupervised in a room with these on, it could be very warm to land on, even with a lid on it.

If your reason for using this product group is to add a scent to the air whether to offset another or whatever. The problem remains the same. There are no over-sight agency that assures the safety of scent. Thus, the chemical mass mixed to create the scent can be natural or a mix of toxic stuff.

I hear that this has never been a problem for your birds, and that is great!
When my daughter was working with our vet, a very distraught woman came in with all her birds-dead! She was blaming the two new birds she just added!
Cause? She plugged in an extra glad-plug!
The same thing can be said about happy huts! There are thousands in use with no apparent issues. That word of the day- apparent!
We live in a toxin rich environment, many are micronutrients! You may have found a working balance! Others, not so lucky! Luck is a poor choice of words, because I am not implying it is a crapshoot! I have been to many homes where the scent is so strong, I am choking! I have the same disagreement with the family over fabric softeners! They love ‘that clean’ smell! Me? Immediate sore throat!
This reply is more for the folks that are on the fence over using air fresheners (modifiers)!

If it gives you any indication, the Uber-equivalent where I live has an "Uber-Pet" (not Uber, but you get the idea) ride option. That private car option is only available for mammalian pets (cats and dogs). Birds are expressly forbidden (they made a big announcement on their Facebook page) because most drivers have oils/scents in the car and the company does not want to be responsible if your bird dies due to a scented ride in one of their cars.
