watery poop - can this be not a concern?

I wonder if it's ok that my male lovebird is having watery poop, for a long time. I have tried ACV in his water. He looks perfectly fine otherwise, and is very active. His wife also has somewhat watery poop, just not as watery as his. They do look very healthy and happy. My female is a determined egg layer... no matter what I do, she will lay eggs, sit on them for a month, starts to become uninterest, I would remove the eggs... the pair loves to mate a lot... and then she lays egg again... I give them a lot of cuttlebone and powdered egg shell which they like...

I don't think watery poop is good.
I don't what ACV is. But I never recommend adding anything to the birds water....
You can try probiotics, found at pet stores for birds and sprinkle on food. Or you can see if they will est live culture yogurt, just half a reason acouple times a week. Mine eat it from my fingers, but they arntive birds...
Yes tell us about the diet?
You might end up needing an avain vet specialist vet visit if it doesn't improve..

thanks! yes ACV is apple cider vinegar.

They eat Kaytee seed mix, small amount of kale, apple and pear.

Too much apple and pear can cause watery poop. My Nike always has a watery poop after eating a lot of apple.

Why not either reduce or stop feeding the fruits and see if the poop stiffens up. If it's fruit related, watery poop right after eating fruit is normal, 24/7 watery poop might mean you're feeding too much.

Nail on the head Bill. Eating watery fruit or vegetables will make poops watery.I would stop for awhile and see if this changes, but really if my Salty had watery poops for a few days (like 2or 3),I would have him at his certified avian vet (CAV) asap. Weighing your parrot often gives you a good idea too of their general health, along with becoming an avid 'poopologist'.

What is your bathing regimen? Maybe its not diet related at all: At one point 5 years ago or so, I decided to bring my conure in the shower with me in the mornings. He would fly down and just soak directly in the water coming out of the shower head. After day 2 I noticed he was pooping almost straight water. It freaked my out and I lived 3 miles away from an avian vet so I took him in immediately. The vet calmed me down and apparently all it was is too much water entering his system through his nares. I quit letting him sit in water spray and he cleared up after 24 hours, no problems since. Now i am careful even in the sink to only let the water trickle slightly when he bathes.

Depending on the birds diet it could just be from what they're eating. My Maui was having a lot of watery poop the last 2 days but he's been preferentially eating a lot of capsicum, chillies, and cucumbers which have high water content. I know it's that because his weight is stable (I weigh him daily) and once he ate some dry pellets and greens in the evening his poop firmed up.

I'd recommend weighing your bird regularly as dropping weight is the first sign that something is wrong. And mix the diet up so the bird is eating a mix of high- and low- water foods; it's very easy to see if its the food as if you switch to low-water food you should see the poop firm up within a few hours as their metabolism is quite fast.

As barw33zy said, it could also be bathing. Maui tends to poop more water after he's had a shower.

It could also be the emotional state of your bird as well. Maui has a tendency to do 'nervous' poops when he encounters something he's not sure about and they're usually just urine with some solid flakes. So if your bird is doing watery poops sometimes but 'normal' poos other times (ie morning, evening, when comfortable) then it might be a nervous reaction.
