Have no experience with grape vinegar. The difference would seem to be in acid contain and, which is more I do not know. I'm not even sure if there would be a difference between red or white grapes. Sorry, with hope someone with far more experience will stop by...

If folks are switch from normal Vinegar to apple vinegar as a cleaning agent, they are going to be unhappy as 'vinegar' as a group, has no effect on a SARS based virus, which is what we are all faced with. They need to be using a disinfectant product!

When used for People, Unfiltered Apple Cider Vinegar is supposed to have various health benefits beyond just its acidity. Maybe some of the "apple a day keeps the doctor away" magic gets into the ACV. The are supposed to be related to various trace minerals vitamins etc that exist in Un-filtered ACV.

If you're using filtered Vinegar then the difference between Cider vs Wine vinegar would be pretty minimal, although still some slight diff in minerals of course. IF you normally use the Un-filtered, there will be a bigger difference between the two. But birds can eat grapes as well as apples, so if you need to switch it shouldn't harm your bird. UN-filtered vinegar will possibly contain some small amount of pro-biotic which filtered vinegar will Not contain.

(The one vinegar to maybe not use is Balsamic, as it has stuff added to it. Well Im not sure about malt vinegar either... but anyways grape/wine vinegar should not do any harm as long as you keep your Quantities as low as always. Perhaps a little Lower if you're switching from Un-filtered to Filtered.)
