We have been thinking about buying our pellets and freezing them. I have read a couple times on here that people have good luck with that. Does anyone not like freezing pellets? Why? I came across the website below and am wondering if anyone has used it... Thanks.

Yes i have used them many many times! Beaver Creek Aviary has good prices. However, they are a big company that buy large quantities and stock it. So it needs to be frozen before using to kill any bug larvae.
This site has very competitive prices and get their stock weekly so it is very fresh :
MySafeBirdStore - DISCOUNTED Bird Products - Safe & Healthy from a Bird Free Environment
If you contact them they can usually get you most bulk food you are looking for....

Freezing pellets isn't really necessary and may work against you. Vitamins like "E" can degrade in the freezer. Also if you use large containers instead of small ones moisture can creep in degrading the food over time. Most people freeze seed to kill bug larvae

WindyCityParrot.com carries several lines of pellets found here: Bird & Parrot Food Pellet Bird Food. First time orders get 15% off and all orders earn free bird food (you must ahve an account an be logged in - it's free) details found here: Free Parrots Food $49 Orders ship fee

That's right. I don't freeze the pellets, only the seeds.

Can you tell me how buying from you is going to SAVE me money? $17,95 is WAY to much for a bag of pellets.
