When we moved here, I promised my wife that I'd slow down the bird migration through our home. Of course, we brought our forever flock with us. This house is much smaller than our old one. So, I'm cutting down on my rescue work. And trying to not take in birds that need rehabilitating & re-homing. But, this weekend, I adopted a Lutino Peach faced Lovebird from a young girl who did not want him anymore. What a sweet, gentle, well behaved little angel! I couldn't pass him by. And the forever flock increases by one! It is true...Birds ARE like potato chips...

Hooray!

I don't see how anybody could "not it anymore" when it comes to a bird.

Congrats on your new bird, but be careful! Like you said... you can't just have one!

"like potato chips" I love it! Sooo true. I got two rosies at the end of last year and I'm pretty sure I'm gonna end up with another one soon. Good thing we are looking for a house to buy, I'm gonna need the space.
