So I go to pick up 2 new feathered kids tomorrow morning :) One is a unsexed Nanday Conure and the other is a male Scarlet Chested Grass Parakeet. I'll post pics when I get them back home and settled in. I'm excited to meet them.

Congrats!!! Just don't bring Nanday into TN as they're made illegal in the state of TN. Which I thought was crazy cause I've seen them at bird shows....

From little to big - currently 6 Linnies; 2 Budgies; 1 BHP; 2 CAGs; 2 Zons; 1 GWM. Formerly in the flock: 1 LSC2 [fostered/rehomed] RIP: 1 budgie 1 WCP & 1 sweet Pan Am
First - congratulations!

Our flock grew by 2 a couple weeks ago & we are enjoying the new guys tremendously.

Second - I can't wait to see pictures - I LOVE the scarlet chested grass 'keets.

[BTW - Quakers are illegal in Pennsylvania, too. I regret that.]

Thank you, I am so excited that I can't sleep lol. Congrats on your new additions as well. I was in awe when I found the Scarlet, you don't see them around here often and I have always thought they were beautiful. She's letting me have him for $50 too so it's like I just struck the jackpot. I should be picking them up in about 12 hours, I'm sure I'll be rushing to get my barn chores done in the morning :)

Congrats on your new additions! I just love my Nanday. She is so funny.

Mikey, seriously, Nandays are illegal in TN? I was honestly thinking of moving there one day. I never realized they were illegal in any state. I knew about Quakers, but not anything else.

Ok, I just did some checking and Nandays are banned in Tennessee! Just them and Quakers apparently. I wonder why other conures are ok? It would figure that is what conure I own, and that is the state that most interests me for possible relocation! I just told Rowdy I guess we aren't moving there.
