What's the thing you love the most about your parrot (s)?

Hi everyone.I have a grey and I love her sweet sounds and great personality!I made this thread to hear what other parrot lovers like the most about theirs!

I love the way my Gcc does a flock call when he is calling me, I am very lucky....he starts saying "baby" and " I Love you". There are so many things I love about my baby it would take all night....Love the way he looks at me intently with those sweet little eyes when I talk to him. I love when he wants to share my food and take showers with me. I love his kisses and his smoochy sound. I love it when he shoves the mail off in the floor and waits for me to pick it up. I just adore him.

I love how everyday my boys are so excited to see me and run out of their cage to give kisses. They love to hear me sing and think I'm the most amazing singing bird they have ever seen lol Watching them explore and learn new things is so much fun. Their new words and sounds are so cute and I can tell they love to be able to communicate with me. They make me laugh and even when they are cranky and nuts, I think it is so cute. We call it going "Chuck Norris" when they get like that. Everyday is a new adventure with parrots!!!

I also love that my husband was totally won over within a week by their charm, even though he was so resistant to them in the beginning. Now he asks if everything is safe for the birds and has to double check with me. I thought Wilson hurt his wing the other day and he was so concerned. He even started changing their papers, feeding and watering them without me asking. LOL, he is just as in love as I am! I also love how they tolerate my 6 year old son and are so forgiving. I don't know if bigger parrots would be but Linnies definately are!

I love the way they make me laugh every single day! Sometimes life gets hard and even in those hard times, they can get a laugh out of me. I love how loved they make me feel. I love the good night "Love You"! I love how I can sometimes just stare at them and be amazed at their beauty. I love how every day I am amazed at something they do. I love how they sometimes cuddle with me. I guess I just plain LOVE them!

Yeah, I have to go with everything, her silly tude, her love of cuddles, her clucking while walking all over the house trying to find me, her bluffs, how quiet she is....

I love JJ's way of making me laughing. Usually it's when she hangs upside down and one footed on her cage. I love when she greets me with her little whistle first thing in the morning when she hears me getting up.

That the sun rises and sets on me, what unconditional love. How can you not respond to that?

How she lights up when I walk in the room. How he snuggles. The cute little "purr" he makes when he's happy. Her flock call. Her babbling. How he randomly says a new word. The way she will hop around and make us laugh.

I love how sociable, quiet, and sweet natured she is. The fact that any stranger can come over to the house and she treats them as if they hand fed her amazes me. We have never had someone come over that she would not go to. She absolutely loves meeting new people. Its a wonderful feeling to be able to share her with everyone. Its a unique quality to have a bird that wants to meet new people and will absolutely never bite (nor offer to). Its nice to have people that come over, who are scared of birds because their only experience is that they 'bite' and when they leave they want to take her with them (of course they get educated on what it takes to own one and that they are not all like this - I don't want people leaving my house and running out to impulse buy a baby). I literately have people who come to just visit her. :11:

Hmmm well, my bird loves me, but she's not so cuddly or talkative, she doesn't run for me when she sees me, but even if she's not as crazy for me as I am her I love the little things about her. Like how she fluffs up and closes her eyes fora good ear scratch and how she squeaks and dances after a good training session.

My ekkie will say hello to anyone who walks through a door into the room that he is in and he WILL NOT STOP repeating hello until that person says hello back. XD its adorable.

Not my parrot - but I inadvertently trained a Sulphur today that me holding up two fingers and my thumb meant to say "Hello". She was so adorable. I love her voice.

I felt so bad when I had to leave. She looked at me and said "Hello" as I was leaving.

I love it when Kazi is really pleased with something and wags his tail. I also love the soft 'unh unh' noises he makes when he's settling down and really loving his cuddles. And he never fails to make me laugh when he starts acting like a lunatic and throwing his head around and biting his own legs or my ear or gnawing on my hands. He really cracks me up when he throws himself on his back with my hand in his grasp. He looks so silly, but he's having such a good time.
