how does everyone that has mutilple birds cope?!! do you just let them out separately or see how they get on with each other?
does it affect the way they bond with you?

Some people have several Birds that get along, but there are also many that dont.

There are several people that have to let them out separately, which means you would have to spread your time, equally between them:)

Yep, in the evenings, Zons get the office, GWs get the bird/living area & the Hahn's comes out by herself after everyone else is put up. Bonding hasn't been an issue, but letting them intermingle was VERY short-lived

My conures were hear first, then we got Oliver, the sennie, and they didn't fight. They were just curious. I have them out on two seperate playgyms and they don't seem to mind eachother, although whenever I walk by with Olliver on my hand, they go to the very edge of the playgym to get a close look. They've only been exposed to cockatiels and other GCC's, so a bigger and different colored bird was completely new to them. They still like to get a look of him though. Their cages are in the same room and they are fine. By the way, Oliver shows no interest in Bella and Zora; he's very calm.

*Oh my gosh? You have hedgehogs?! I do too... People look at me like I'm crazy when I tell them I've got two; thet're not a common pet where I live.

Oh ok. But yah, like wenz said, some get along, some don't...

And about the cooking hedgehogs thing, I got that too. Sometimes I forget that most commonly they're food. :11:

At my house, the big guys come out by themselves, then it's the little guys turn. My Grey comes out anytime as she stays away from the others.

Mine get along. When I was looking for a second bird I was looking for specific traits that would mix well with my original bird's personality. I looked at several birds and then finally found one that seemed to meet my specific criteria. I keep my birds a little unconventionally, they are loose all day together outside. They have enough space to be able to move out of each others way but really don't seem to mind each other. I'm lucky in that regards but I have seen people who have to keep all the birds they have separated.

i guess im lucky at the mo that my 3 dont seem to mind each other!!

i bet thats great keeping them like that...they must love it!
i think as long as your birds, animals whatever are happy, clean, fed, watered and loved no one should judge how they are kept.
