I Love my Bird......

I haven't been on in a bit due to the crazy schedule I've had, but I really want to share how much my bird contributes to my life. Sparky is a lot of work, no doubt about it, but the joy she brings me each day is immeasurable. To watch her destroy a toy I bought her brings me pleasure as her eyes pin and she coos to herself. She cuddles to me thrilled that I have scritched her for a few minutes. She brings joy as she swings upside down cocking her head to look me in the eye. She drives me crazy as she "cleans" up my papers and reorganizes everything to her exacting taste. I cannot say how much I love her. I only wish that everyone could have such a great relationship. What do you love about your babies?

Now I ask you ,who can top that ?

Antoinette you have such a special relationship with your bird, I would love to hear more from others who have a special bond.

I have only had Audrey for 1 year now, but I feel like she's been with me a lifetime. I just get those moments where I just sit and stare at her for ages and admire her beauty! I love how when I walk out of the room for just moment and I'll come back, she is on her cage flapping and begging me to pick her up because she is upset I have left the room lol! *Glad she doesn't scream for me though LOL flapping is good!*
She sings beautifully, I've taught her a few tunes, and one from a well known song. Its so funny when friends are over and they say.. Hang on a minute? Is she singing? Haha. We all get a good laugh out of her. She does her little opera singing too which is so cute. But of course every time I try to video her she comes up to the camera in complete silence and turns her head to the side! (Much like a puppy dog) Such a poser, not a performer for the camera lol.
My whole family get so much joy out of her, she really is apart of the family. We are all a bit hyper here lol and Audrey is hyper too, so she really fits in. She has a quirky personality, she's a bit of a weirdo and I love her for it!!
